This popular bluff-top campground is located 3 miles south of Carlsbad, 50 miles north of San Diego. Stairs lead to the beach.

NOTE: The campground entrance is not accessible directly from Poinsettia Ln. Drivers must continue NORTH on CARLSBAD BLVD and make the first legal U-Turn at Breakwater Rd.

A camp store located near the campground entrance operates March through October and provides all the amenities a camper may need including some RV supplies, boogie boards, firewood, and fishing gear.

Campground showers---TOKEN operated. Token machines at ranger station and campfire center. Tokens available upon check-in

VEHICLE PARKING: Vehicles must be parked within assigned campsite, not on the roadway, in the planted area or beyond the campsite number. Only three licensed vehicles (includes motor cycles/trailers/RVs) are allowed per campsite.

CHECK-OUT TIME is noon. Please leave site clean and on time. Check-in time is 2 p.m. Sorry, no exceptions.

RE-REGISTRATION: If you want to re-register, you must contact the entrance station before 9 a.m. the morning you are due out. Re-registration is not guaranteed.

HOOK-UP SITES: Not available.

SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit is 15 mph. Use good judgment. Children at play!

WI-FI Service: Park visitors with wireless-enabled laptop computers or personal digital assistants (PDAs) may access the Internet. You can access Wi-Fi service if you are within a 150 foot range of the campground office in the park.

TRUCKS: Passengers may not ride in the beds of pick-up trucks (including those with camper shells). California Vehicle Code (CVC) laws apply.
